Philip Shaw - The Architect, 2015 Chardonnay

Good for: drinking, creamy pasta, hearty salad

I also bought this whilst I was in the Blue Mountains and wanted to see if I like the chardonnay from Orange. I'm trying to test my taste buds and see how they change.

I actually quite liked this wine and I didn't expect to. When I first opened it, it had a strong grassy, citrus smell which just filled your nose... in a good way - it smells like a meadow.

There is a slight fizz on your tongue and it makes it even more moreish. IT still has the slight creaminess of a chardonnay but with apple cutting through stopping to from becoming too heavy.
