James Estate - 2012 Petit Verdot

This post is a little different. In September 2012 Stephen and I visited the Hunter Valley. The trip was our first "wine tasting tour" and let's just say we don't remember much. However, what I do remember is tasting a full, rich and meaty Petit Verdot. Until this day, I couldn't remember the vineyard it came from and after searching many a wine shop shelf I had been unable to find a pure Petit Verdot that wasn't mixed (ruined) with another grape. Then, when I started this website, I realised google photos was my friend and something in my mind clicked that this beautiful wine was from James Estate.
