Wonderland - Ovation of the Seas, Royal Caribbean

I really wanted this experience to be everything it promises. When looking online at the restaurants on the cruise ship we got very excited about this restaurant - five courses (it seemed) each dedicated to a different element; water, ice, fire, sea, earth.

When we arrived, it seemed good - we received a framed blank piece of paper. We where then told the secret, without being able to discover it ourselves, "you paint it with water and the menu appears, it's so cool". Oh, ok.

I won't go into the details but our waiter wasn't very good and didn't explain the menu to us, so I ended up with lots of dishes and Stephen ended up with very little.

The dishes looked impressive however the taste was lacking. My favourite dish was the cheesecake lollipop at the end which was creamy and crnuchy with a slight sour zing.

Overall a very underwhelming experience and I would advise anyone thinking of paying for this restaurant aboard the ship - don't waste your money.
