Vic's Meat Market, Sydney

Surprisingly located in the Sydney fish market, Vics Meat is one of the best American BBQ places that we've ever come across. The business is first and foremost a butchery (and a fine one at that), however they also have a 2 tonne smoker on the outside aptly named 'Kong' that produces the most amazing pulled pork, brisket, burnt ends and meat patties that you have ever tasted in your life. Better than what's available in the home of BBQ itself, Texas USA. (Well at least compare to this place that we went to in Dallas)

The most notable item on the menu is their amazing smokey cheeseburger. Now, I don't usually like cheeseburgers. Would always prefer a Big Mac or McChicken to be honest, but if McDonalds made cheeseburgers like this I'd never buy anything else.

And if you still haven't had enough, then go inside to the butchery and purchase a pulled pork or beef brisket pastie to cook at home the next day. Simply delicious!
