Pascale Bar & Grill, Melbourne

I was staying at the relatively new QT hotel in Melbourne for work and had this delicious treat for breakfast. Eggs Rockafeller It is their take on an eggs benedict where the egg is slow cooked and they use brioche instead of muffins. It is served with warrigal greens and topped with avruga caviar, tarragon and their homemade hollandaise. Was it the best eggs bene I've ever tried - no. But it was certainly tasty and I liked the caviar twist - you can never go wrong when adding caviar in my eyes!

The QT states on it's menu that they use open range Isa Brown Eggs from Yandoit, Victoria where there are ten birds per hectare of pasture - always good to know you're eating eggs from happy chickens!
