Murray Street - 2010 Viognier Marsanne
Good for: spicy Asian food
We bought a case of these when we visited Murray Street Vineyard because they had a special deal on. We probably should have known that they were trying to get rid of too much stock because isn't the greatest wine we have tasted.
First we tried it on it's own and found it quite heavy and sharp. When we later tried it with an Indian curry it was better. The food complimented the wine more than the wine complimented the food I feel so probably not one I would highly recommend.
In saying that, we have five more bottles yet so I will be trying to find other dishes to pair with this wine to make it more palatable to our tastes.
Not great on its own but nice with our Indian curry.
