g & Co by Simon Gilbert - 2015 Sauvignon Blanc

Good for: drinking and fish

When first pouring this wine, I was surprised at how pale it was and was then expecting something somewhat watery and weak.

How wrong I was, it has a strong grassy, perfumey smell with fragrances of peach coming through. It is slightly sharp yet crisp on the tongue but quite enjoyable.

I can imagine this wine would be good with a fish dish to cut through any oiliness.
