Thirsty Owl - 2015 Dry Riesling

Good for: almost everything

I had a glass of this wine at the Alehouse Taproom in Ithaca with a delicious clam chowder. I don't normally opt for a Riesling however I am trying to expand my palette. This wine was slightly sweet but still very refreshing with hints of lemon and lime. The overall taste was soft fruits, especially nectarine and left a very rounded smooth feel in my mouth. I would definitely have this wine again but maybe not with a clam chowder!
