Good for: Italian food
We had this wine on Christmas day after we had peaked and wanted to chill on the sofa and play games. It was ok but we didn't love it.
Then, we decided to try it again with a bolognese. I used it in the bolognese and wow! It really enhanced the flavour and Stephen and I agree, it's the best one I've ever made. This will now have to be a staple. We continued to enjoy it with dinner however when we had finished we did find it a little harder to drink alone.
So, whilst this wine doesn't suit every occasion, it is absolutely fantastic for bolognese and I would say any other Italian dish.
